The Big Trip Part 3

After Disneyland we went to France to meet up with my Aunty Sarah Jane. We had an awesome time. The first thing we did was go to Notre Dame. Sadly, we didn't see Quasimodo but we did see some beautiful stained glass windows. Whenever there was the quietest sound, a booming voice would come over the speakers going, "SHHHHHHHH!" Very loudly. When we went into Notre Dame my baby cousin Alex started crying and then the booming voice went over the speakers again.

After Notre Dame, we started walking down to the Louvre. We saw a small pet store and the cats and dogs in there were absolutely adorable. I loved them.

Once we arrived at the Louvre, we were going to go in but we didn't end up doing that because we didn't have much time and we had already been to see the Mona Lisa and her friends last year.

Then we started making our way down to the Eiffel Tower. Before we got to the Eiffel Tower we had a quick sit down and while everyone was sitting down I took my baby cousin Alex for a walk to see the ducks.

Once we arrived at the Eiffel Tower, we were amazed to see how long all the lines to get up the tower were. There were hundreds of people. It was crazy. We didn't end up going up the tower because the lines were so long and we didn't want to wait all that time with a baby. I've been up the tower before so it didn't bother me too much. Also, it was an overcast day so the view wouldn't have been that great.

When we finished at the Eiffel Tower, we all went for a half hour walk down to the Arc de Triomph. It looked really awesome like all the carvings and stuff were just amazing.

After a long day we all sat down and had a nice healthy meal of McDoanalds on the Champs Elysees.
(I'm kidding... not about the McDonalds part - we did have McDonalds, it just wasn't healthy.)

The Big Trip Part 2

"Wow! Look at that. Oh! Oh, and that one. Wow! Look, look. It's just like the other one." That's all I was saying at Disneyland Paris.

Last week, me and my family went to Disneyland Paris. It was awesome. We got to go on rides, look in shops, and have heaps of fun. My favourite ride was called RC Racers. It was cool. It's like a huge U and you're in the car from Toy Story. You go up to both tops of the U - its really invigorating.

While we were at Disneyland, we saw a spectactular parade. It was really creative and I guess coolrative. My baby cousin Alex loved the parade. He was waving at all the characters that passed him. It was so cute.

There were some parts of Disneyland that I did not like though, such as when you're on the Space Mountain ride it jolts a lot so your ears and head whack into the side of the bar that's supposed to protect you. It is still a really cool ride if you can get past the pain.

There's also the Indiana Jones ride which again jolts a lot so it whacks your head. Also sometimes it goes so fast that you can barely keep your head up.

But that's too much about the bad things. Why don't we focus on the good things?

The day we went to Disneyland we stayed up to about 11:30pm because we watched the fireworks. They were amazing! There were lights, fireworks and fire balls. When the fireballs came out we we went from freezing to roasting hot. It was crazy cool. We all loved watching the fireworks.

Going to Disneyland was super fun because I got to spend time with some of my family that I wouldn't be able to otherwise. All in all, Disneyland was awesome. I mean, what did you expect? It's Disneyland.

The Big Trip Part 1

Four hours of toots, bumps, crying babies, rumbling tummies and snores. A.K.A-  a road trip.
Last week me, my mum, my sister, my Aunty Sarah, my Aunty Rose, my baby cousin Alex, Marissa and Malika(they're kind of like cousins) loaded up the car and started our journey to France - the land of baguettes, croissants and pain au chocolat.
We were in my Aunty Sarah's car for most of the trip but for a good forty minutes we were on a really cool ferry. Mum was very interested in the white cliffs of Dover. The ferry was awesome. It had a big arcade in it, an outside area so you can look at the water, and a cool Starbucks. By the time we got to France it was about 10:00am because we left at about 5:00am. Ater that we had another big car trip, but this time it was in France.
Eventually we arrived at our hotel. It was pretty cool too but nothing to special. Me, my mum and my sister stayed in our own hotel room and my Aunty Sarah, my Aunty Rose, my baby cousin Alex, Marissa, and Malika all stayed in their own room. (I imagine it was pretty squashed in there.)
Later that night, my mum and Aunty Sarah went out to the supermarket. They said they were going to be about half an hour. They ended up being about 3 hours. Poor Marissa had to look after me all that time. Even I felt sorry for her. I was getting worried, although all was forgiven when they brought back McDonalds for dinner. (At about 9:00pm)
We all had to have a good night sleep that night because we were waking up early the next day so we could make the most of Disneyland!

The Star Gazer

Last Friday I went to shefeild.
One night we were walking along the street trying to find somewere we could have Dinner. When we were walking I saw a big blue pole looking thing I figured it was just a weird looking water tower so I didn't say anything but boy was I wrong. That weird pole thing was not a water tower it was a ride called the Star gazer oh you don't know what that is well its basicly a chair-aplane but it slowly goes higher and higher till your 50 meters in the sky.
from the top you can see every thing it was terrorfing my mum thought I was going to fall out she was down on the ground with dad whill me and Emily were on the ride. We were so high all the people on the ground looked like ants. I for the conclusion to this short recount I have one thing to say. If you ever go to Shefeild GO ON THE STAR GAZER its amazing.

Whats Behind the Cupboard Door Chapter 5

"Oh umm... hi Harrisooooh my gosh I gotta get home I've got chores to do I'm in for it as it is" I say with a worried face.

"I need your help William. But if you must leave I will not stand in your way." Harrison says with a worried glance. I look at him with pity, turn around and leave.

" Oh by the way can my arm do anything cool now like shoot lasers like Iron Man or is it really strong like Buckys arm or is it like Spider man so I can shoot webs and and I'm getting caried away aren't I but anyway do I have powers or what?" I ask with a voice full of hope.
"I guess you'll just have to find out" Harrison says with a smile on his face.

I smile, hop in the elevator cupboard thing, press the red button and go up to the surface.
When I get up to the surface I see Mum, Dad and Emily next to the bench with mum on the phone.
" Please Please Please just find him" she says with tears running down her face.

"Umm hey Mum hey Dad Emily you are offisioly the worst seeker in hide and seek history.

May the 4th be with You

It was a normal morning. I sat up, picked my phone up and checked the time - 7:08am. "It's a bit early. I'm just gonna lie back down and go back to... WAIT! WHAT DID THAT SAY?! MAY THE FOURTH?! IT'S STAR WARS DAY!!!"
Emily sat up in terror. She looked left and right, right and left, up and down. "What happened?" she said whilst yawning. I then shoved my phone in her face, "It's Star Wars Day."
"Oh ok," Emily said. She then lay down and fell asleep again.
"What do you mean, oh ok?" I said to myself.
Then I jumped out of bed, ran around the corner and straight into Mum and Dad's room. "Mum, Dad, guess what?!" I said with a big smile on my face.
"May the fourth be with you," they both said in a tired voice.
"Can we pleaaaaase go to Westfield Mall?"
"Why?" Mum said.
"BecausetodayandonlytodayifyougototheLegostoreyoucangetanexclusiveMaythefourthLegostormtrooperminifigandIwannagetit!" I said so fast even I couldn't understand everything.
"Ok. So here's what I got out of that. You want to go to the dinosaur..." said Dad.
"No, the Lego store," I interrupted.
"Right, the Lego Store. To get a..." Dad started.
"Storm Trooper," I interrupted again.
"Yup, a Storm Trooper. That you can only get on a flake," Dad said.
"No, you can only get it today!" I said.
"Oh," Dad said.
After a bit of negotiation, I finally convinced them to take me. So we got dressed, went to the station, hopped on the train, walked to Westfield went up the escalator and into the Lego store.
There was a big sign in front of the Lego store saying May the Fourth be with You. "We're finally here," I squealed with joy.
I ran into the Lego Store. There were heaps of posters on the wall. One was about the exclusive Storm Trooper mini figure. Suddenly my heart sank. It said it right there on the poster - 'Spend over $50 to get an exclusive May the Fourth mini figure.'
Mum looked at me, "What's wrong Willa?" I didn't need to say anything. I just pointed.
"Oh no," mum said. "Well, better luck next time. We can still look around the Lego if you want," Mum said in a kind voice.
I sighed, "Ok"
We looked around for a bit and as we were leaving the store Emily spotted something on a poster.
"Hey, look," she said whilst pointing.
"We have already seen it. We cant get the mini figure," I said in a sad voice.
"No, not that. Look," Emily said.
Me and Mum turned around and read the poster. I smiled. It said that on May the Fourth you can build Poe Dameron's X-wing for free.
Then we turned around and walked back into the store and asked about it. The workers said that it is starting in 6 minute, so we waited and built the X-wing. It was awesome. Here's a photo of what we built.

After that me and Emily played with our X-wings for a bit. Then we went to the Disney Store and we looked around there. We found a really cool Darth Vader jersey. Mum was nice enough to buy it for me and when we went to the counter to buy it the worker gave us a flyer that had information on it that said that on May the fourth you can go to the Disney Store on Oxford Street and meet Warwick Davis. If you don't know who that is, he played Wicket the Ewok in Star Wars.
So that night, after dinner, we all went down to Oxford and when we got to the Disney Store we saw that the line was so far you could barely see the end (well that's exaggerating a bit, but it was still really long).
We waited in the line for about 2 hours and when we were almost at the front someone walked out and said, "Sorry everybody but Warwick has to go now because it's getting late, however he does want to acknowledge that you all came to see him so he is gonna walk past and say hi to everyone and give you a signed photo of himself."
We were all a bit disappointed but still grateful he was going to come by.
Warwick Davis cruised past on his custom built Segway. He said hi to me, shook my hand and gave me an autographed picture of himself.

When we were leaving to go home, we got some hot chips and a taxi. On the ride home, we were talking about how crazy today was and joking about how this was the Rube Goldberg machine of days.
Oh, and May The Fourth Be With You.

The National Pet Show

WOOF! Ssssssssss! Neigh! OW OW OOOOOOW! That was all I could hear at the National Pet Show and I'm not even gonna begin to tell you how it smelt.

On Sunday, my family and I went to the National Pet Show to see all the great animals (I liked the dogs the most) P.S Don't tell the other animals. There were a few animals that made me go eeew and a lot of animals that made me go awwww.

There were ponies and cats, snakes and rats, dogs and beetles and animals like that.

There were a few really cool activity's that you could participate in. My favourite was the one were you needed to put a bandage on a dog stuffed teddy then you got to have a lolly.

There were some very interesting animals for example a dog and a cat with no fur.

I got to hold a snake it did not feel like I thought it would. It felt very rubbery like you could stretch it.

As the day progressed it started to get quieter and quieter. As much as all the animals were loving the attention it was tiring them out and by the time we left there was but nothing to be heard.
